Celebrating Story and Word

This is a public reading by local poets and writers of poetry, fiction, and personal narratives presented by the Clancy and Boulder Writers’ Group on Thursday, May 22nd at 7PM. The event will be held at the Clancy United Methodist Church and is free, though food items may also be brought as donations to the Boulder Food Bank.

“Creating Confident Teens” - Seminar

Friday, May 9th, 2008

This parenting support seminar will be led by Eric Wahler, a licensed therapist who has worked with teens and their families for 17 years. He will present and share information to help parents and others build confidence and self-discipline in their teens.
It will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2008 from 7-9PM at the Boulder Elementary School library. The seminar is free to the public and assistance with childcare and transportation is available.

The Heritage Center is having a fundraiser - Join us for an evening of Food, Fun & Friends - Saturday May 10th at the Boulder/Basin Senior Citizens Center - Spaghetti Dinner 5:30-7:00 - $6.00 for ages 10 & up - $20.00 for family. Bingo - 6:30-8:00 - Silent Auction items & 50/50 raffle!

New Fair Website

The Jefferson County Fair has a new website with information about everything you need to know about the 2008 A Fair of the Heart. The site is full of information about times, fees, and who to call with questions.
It may seem early, but fair time will be here before we know it!

JHS Performance of Oliver!

Jefferson High Drama will be presenting Lionel Bart’s musical Oliver! on May 9, 10, 15 and 16.
The JHS Drama teams have been recognized nationally several times and always put on a great performance.
Come out and see the show!!!
The cost is 6$ for adults and $4 for students.
