The 2009 summer reading program begins on June 15th from 11:00 to Noon and will continue every Monday ending August 3rd…This year’s theme is “Be Creative @ Your Library” and will explore the worlds of music, art, books, and more. This is open to young people, kindergarten through 8th grade, with programs, prize drawings, and more. Families are invited to join the read-to-Me portion of the program. The following creative programs will be:
June 15th: a renowned puppeteer
June 22nd: returning “Doc Wild”
June 29th: Franci McMahon, Local children’s author
July 6th: magician Ed Groves
July 13th: Mr. Tavery, Art Teacher
July 20th: Dan McCarl, Mandolin Player
July 27th: Dusty & Lynn, Local musicians
August 3rd: End of summer party

Summer Program starts June 15
The 21st Century Community Learning Center’s Summer Program will start on June 15th. The Back to Nature Program will run for 8 weeks on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday’s.
8:30 - 9:00: breakfast in the foyer of the Elementary School Gym.
9:00 - Noon: academic time. Including the Summer Reading Program, music lessons, gardening, and math and reading.
Noon - 1:00: lunch and recess time.
1:00 - 2:30: students can choose from several enrichment activities.
The Summer Food Program is open to students ages 18 and under. Free breakfast and lunch will be served in the foyer of the elementary school gym. Breakfast is served from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and lunch will be served from noon to 1:00.

American Legion #46 Flag Retirement Ceremony June 13
Post 46 of the American Legion invites all Boulder Area Veterans, spouxes, and children to a Flag Retirement Ceremony, and a no cost dinner hosted by post 46. We offer this as an opportunity for us to meet each other and we encourage the display of pictures, or other collections. You will have the chance to meet state and local officers of the American Legion and to learn about us and what we do in the Boulder area.

Missoula Children’s Theatre presents Alice in Wonderland
ALICE IN WONDERLAND Performance
Join Alice, the White Rabbit and a host of others in a musical wonderland Friday, May 1, 2009 and Saturday, May 2, 2009 when the Missoula Children’s Theatre and more than 50 local students present an original musical adaptation of the Lewis Carroll classic, ALICE IN WONDERLAND.
ALICE IN WONDERLAND will be presented at 7 pm on Friday and 2 pm on Saturday at the Boulder Elementary School gymnasium. Tickets are $4 for adults/$3 for children (12 & under) and are available at The Movie Store & More, Ace Hardware and Boulder Elementary School as well as at the door (while supplies last).
